season 1 was better I believe
Thanks for the heads up @Dragonlordxxxxx
I'm expecting another great season.
i like the throbbing background, i like it a lot.
Still kind of surprised they went with McGregor for the lead/leads(?) I want to remain optimistic that he will pull it off because he's ****ing with one of my favorite series of all time.
As for the season 1 vs season 2 debate, season 1 all the way baby. Lesters transformation and Malvos whole character and demeanour was awesome to watch. Season 2 was still extremely good, I just prefer Season 1's story and characters. Hanzee is a great character despite his wtf ending to his character arc.
Lovef Season 2, preferred it to 1; however the whole shoehorned Hanzee being Tripoli thing was retarded so I just pretend it didn't happen.
Season 2 for me was one of the single best seasons for a show ive ever seen. Such an awesome show last year.
Like the casting of Ewan, dude is a pretty damn good actor.
The plot seems like it has elements of the the film worked into it -the parking lot stuff, one family member resenting the other- so I'm wondering how they'll go about that.
Bummed it's not coming out this year.
Yeah I feel like it would have been better just to leave his character a mystery, dives behind the car when Lou shoots at him and that's the last you see of him.
The Hanzee/Tripoli thing isn't terrible but does feel a little forced.
Excited for this. Carrie Coon is amazing in The Leftovers.
Got a message to come here, when's season 3 start date?
I don't think that's been announced yet. I'm thinking it'll be sometime next year.
Carrie Coon was great in the Leftovers. Excited for this season. Just hope they can work a bit on the endings as I feel that´s their weak point.
This show is so ****ing good. I'm hyped. But not as much as for Westworld!
First two seasons are as good as almost anything I've seen. First show ever that my gf was more obsessed with than me.
Update: September 16, 2016
10 CLOVERFIELD LANE's Mary Elizabeth Winstead to Star in FARGO Season 3
FX's Fargo continues to draw star power. BrainDead and 10 Cloverfield Lane star Mary Elizabeth Winstead has joined the cast of the Noah Hawley anthology, THR has learned.
The Fargo casting is in second position to CBS' summer drama BrainDead, meaning if the latter scores a second season and Fargo interferes with the production schedule, Winstead will do only BrainDead.
Season three of Fargo has been rumored to take place in 2010, following the events of the breakout drama's freshman season. It's unclear how or if it will tie into the events from the first run, though none of the stars from season one will return.
Winstead will play Nikki Swango, a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing. She is a woman with a plan who is focused on always being at least one move ahead of her opponents.
Ewan McGregor will topline season three and play the dual roles of brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy in what will be his first TV series regular role. The Leftovers' Carrie Coon is set as Gloria Burgle, a practical woman who is the chief of police in Edna Valley and a newly divorced mother. She struggles to understand this new world around her, where people connect more intimately with their phones than those directly in front of them.
Production on the third installment of Fargo is set to begin later this year for a 2017 debut on FX.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead Joins Ewan McGregor and Carrie Coon in 'Fargo' Season 3
Already excited for season 3 but Mary Elizabeth Winstead is just icing on the cake.
Most excellent. Definitely a fan of Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
She ****ing killed it Scott Pilgrim and 10 Cloverfield Lane. It will be very interesting to see what she can bring to a production like Fargo.
s2 all the way, the conclusion to Hanzee's arc was shoehorned and clunky but Mike's (I believe that was Bokeem Woodbine's characters name) was amazing and on par with Vic Mackie's.
