they discovered Uranus
Work? Whats that?
alien pussy is dry
sharing details of the 3 planes located around the habitable zone in the TRAPPIST-1 system, we cant travel there yet because we dont have the tech for it
WHERE YOU AT ANUNNAKI, WHERE YOU AT MOTHERFUCKERS!!
they had a site set up for this with a bunch of cool stuff and info in it: www.trappist.one
alien life fucking guaranteed
And much more relevant than the half assed repetitious jokes these threads always get.
Usually the responses are
1. Jokes from people that don't know the subject much
2. Jokes from people that know the subject, much, and have smarm in jars on standby
why do they even bother, not like we can get there or this will some how encourge are dumb ass president for a massive space program budget boost
At this point, I'm convinced by the likelihood. The more Earth types we find in the right zone from the parent star, the more likely it looks.
To say this is the ONLY place life has come about seems like bad odds.
Solid points actually, good post
One of the speakers talked about that in the case of the planets having water there would still have tidal waves basing on the fact that the planets are so close to eachother <-- awesome
this came out of a question asking if any of the planets had moons, cant be determined without further observation yet
I'm curious, with the planets being so close, what kind of gravitational effect they would have on one another.
question about if SETI can be used to listen this system: the speaker said "yeah sure" i think he dissed SETI like that
So the planets only go in front of the star?
They are very generous with their habitable zone. They assume the planets are all tidally locked meaning one side is always pointed at the star. It is a smaller star so the habitable zone is much closer to the star with very short period orbits. Most of the stars energy is in the infrared zone. One side of the planet will be extremely warm and the other extremely cold which is likely the reason they extended the habitable zone. Without rotation it is unlikely there will be magnetic fields. Any place for life to exist would be between the day and night margins.
