Watched this one earlier today and I have to say it was a lot more clever and amusing that I expected it to be. For those who don't know what it's about, it's a tongue-in-cheek mockumentary about a rapper/pop star who is trying to hold shit together after his sophomore album fails to perform on the charts. The film has a 77% on RT, but only made an ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL $9.6 million at theaters. It really deserved better than that. It's a smarter movie than it appears on the surface and, in my opinion at least, feels really fresh and unlike everything else on the current film landscape.
