Youth fades bro. Family is forever. Your children will be loyal if you are a good parent until you die. Ill have my loved ones around me when I die. You will die lonely and surrounded by cats.

Glad I'm not the only one with a crazy kid. The problem though is that he's not even 2 yet and I can't even imagine the 'terrible 2's' being worse then it is now.

Does that prospect scares you like a little bitch enough to deal with kids?

Not saying it's cool or not cool to have one, but you sound condescending as fuck when your reasoning is just very selfish to the core.

Fend your issues for yourself. Don't rely on having kids to feel secure or fill a void. Your kid will never respect you they just do because it's what you've taught them to do.

    Money money money...

I'm sick of it. Birthday, Christmas, Valentine's day, School events, activities (lessons etc.).

    They are money pits.

My son turns 3 in June and he's the opposite it sounds like. If he doesn't get a nap, then he's a little shit from afternoon until bedtime because he's tired. If he naps midday, he's like a normal kid from then until bedtime. He'll just end up going to sleep later, which is annoying. It's either don't give him a nap, he'll be a little shit but go to sleep early. Or give him a nap, he'll be a good kid but won't go to sleep until late.

I'm almost 35, not married but on a 2 year relationship. Don't want any kids, never did.
My GF is 24 and is kind of on the fence about having kids so we're playing it by the ear. She knows it's a non-negotiable deal. It'd hurt pretty bad breaking up with her, but I can take a few months of feeling blue vs. a lifetime of doing shit I don't want to do or having a lifestyle that I don't desire.

I'm cool with being "alone" if it comes to that.

This is true, I work with kids and treat them exactly how I would my cockaspaniel. They all marvel at how nice I am while I shake my head at the simplicity of it all.

Dogs are neotonal, many retain juvenile characteristics into adulthood and consequently behave like perma- kids.

I don't know if my wife and I will ever have kids at this point.

I was in Vancouver over the holidays on their skytrain. Jam packed after a Canucks game and out of nowhere this kid just projectile vomits all over the place. Covers his dad in this shit and immediately the train smells like the 8th circle of hell.

We all have to evacuate and while we're waiting for the next train the kid is sitting there looking like Linda Blair and the dad is wondering if he should get on the next train or jump in front of it.

Yeah I'm not ready for kids yet.

When people never shut up about how happy they are with having one and say we should have one too but it's looking more and more like we can't :(

Wrestling, bjj, football, and baseball on top of the things you mentioned. My kids are expensive as fk. They are 11 and 13 so they are simple to take care of but the cost of everything jumps up.
