It seems the only realistic solution to the problem on the Middle East is to redraw borders in that region.

Let's face it the idea of multicultural state in that part of the world simply doesn't work. Kurds want their part, Shia want theirs and Sunnis theirs.

The reason isis or deash is so successful amongst Sunni Muslims in that region is cause they are the only ones fighting for Sunni rights in that region. In any other scenario the majority simply rules over the minority without giving them any rights (that's why democracy simply doesn't work in that part of the world).

If Sunnis had their own area where they could have some sort of Islamic state or republic then they would no longer need a group like isis to fight for their interests.

It does make sense, but i dont see it happening anytime soon, turkey isnt going to allow a kurdistan, he even said he would rather have the islamic state on his border than the kurds

Its the most logical solution but how could it actually happen? America had a perfect chance to set something like this up in Iraq and they didnt. If they do launch a full on invasion of northern Iraq to stop ISIS I hope they establish an Assyrian state. It could be as tiny as Armenia, at least we would know they wont have to suffer any more genocides.
