So the wife and I will be spending a couple nights at Myrtle Beach which is 1-2 hours from Charleston South Carolina. Just a quick trip to relax and have fun, the rooms were cheap and we are not planning to go to the beach, just enjoy the sunrise and visit around. Ive never been to the Carolinas and just wanted to ask people in Sherdog who live close to Charleston what are some fun place to go to. Thanks sherbros!

You can see a lot of interesting history just walking around downtown and the Battery, or do a carriage ride.

If you go to Sullivan's Island, try Hometeam BBQ. On the way down from MB, there's a town called Awendaw. Stop and eat at Seewee Restaurant. It sits right on 17 (right side heading south).

Downtown you'll want to eat at Hyman's (let us know who's table you sat at).

If your lady likes to shop, take her to the Tanger Outlet, it's pretty nice.

If I think of anything else I'll post later.

Was there on a field trip in 8th grade. We did a ghost tour that I still remember. Was really fun and interesting.

I spent twenty minutes listing a bunch of shit to do, but my phone fucked up and I'm too drunk to start over. All you have to know is that Charleston has me, the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, historic tours and zoo, old slave market, 4 block city market, Charleston Museum, fine dining, country cooking and southern hospitality.

Thanks man! Ive googled about the Battery I definitely want to go there and of course downtown to get an overall feel of the oldest parts of the city. I like that picture you posted, we are having lunch on Charleston on Sunday and want to go somewhere that is very local, that looks like the right place

I wanted to go to the Confederate Museum but the museum is closed on Sundays, and Sunday is the day I will spend most of the time there, damn!

We'll start at the Charleston Museum to get an overall history of the city. I also want to go to the slave market, it has some hating reviews but its part of history and I find it interesting. Id like to go to some of the plantations but Im still googling how to get there. We chose Charleston because we want to experience the whole southern culture and history, Charleston is an old city that still keeps that southern culture I love that
